DJ Trevor of TRINFEX SOUND is one of the most accomplished and versitile Indian/West Indian DJs in the Midwest. He has served as resident DJ in all of the major clubs in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. His career started in 1998 djing Indian and African nites at his alma mater St Cloud State in St Cloud, MN. From he was invited to join INDIKA SOUND to play at  the  first ever reggae night in Minneapolis to be held at a major nightclub, QUEST NIGHTCLUB. Alongside INDIKA sound, DJ Trevor brought reggae to the mainstream masses in 2003. Every Wednesday night, 300+ people packed the quest to hear the latest dancehall from DJ Trevor, Dru Dog, and Ozzy T. From the Quest, DJ Trevor moved reggae and soca to ESCAPE NIGHTCLUB where he opened for acts such as TOK, WAYNE WONDER, BARRINGTON LEVY, LADY SAW, and TANYA STEPHENS.  He has also held down weekly reggae nights at Minneapolis’ most legendary nightclub, First Avenue .     In addition to this, he has opened for every major West Indian artist that has passed thru Minneapolis, including Beenie Man, Buju Banton, Mighty Sparrow, Hitman, Capelton, Rikki Jai, Half Pint, Terry Gajraj, Barrington Levy, TOK, Wayne Wonder, Lady Saw, and Tanya Stephen, to name a few. He has done numerous Indian and West Indian events throughout the Midwest, in addition to gigs in Winnipeg, Miami, and Georgetown, Guyana.
